National Sex Offender Registry (NSOR) Search
When it comes to building an organization of top talent, you need to ensure the protection of your business and the safety of your employees and clients. To mitigate the risk of hiring someone who poses a possible threat to your colleagues or clients, a National Sex Offender Registry (NSOR) Search is essential to include in your background screening program.
Early identification of potentially risky applicants is important for any company, but it’s particularly critical when the nature of your business entails interaction with:
- The elderly
- Sick, disabled or otherwise vulnerable individuals
The National Sex Offender Registry (NSOR) service completes a search of a national database of sexual offender records from all 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico (including registered sex offenders). If a record is located from the National Sex Offender Registry (NSOR) during completion of the background check, we will conduct an additional search at the county/state level in order to confirm the accuracy of the record (as required for compliance with the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA)).
